I had the pleasure to work with Sonya recently on the production of a short film in Los Angeles called R.U.Dead Yet - produced by myself and directed by Ana Lazarevic. Though it’s not critical to you knowing that Sonya is awesome, and she is, I must say that our days were incredibly tight and very stressful. Amid this chaos, was Sonya’s smiling face, always ready to move quickly, stay positive, and do excellent work. 

 

Based on scheduling constraints, we had our lead actress coming in and out of several looks throughout the day - hair up hair down! sweaty... not sweaty! - and as ever Sonya jumped to the task with careful speed and a great attitude. 

 

I can’t recommend her highly enough for the teaching position she’s applying for. Her careful communication skills, knowledge of technical concerns regarding the makeup products and their best application / how they would respond to the light, impressed me very much and I have no doubt she would be an asset to any team,
